Bumbles & Boo Goes Global: Sponsoring World Championship Dance Troupe

We've gone global by proudly supporting Team England's Junior Song & Dance Troupe at the Dance World Cup (DWC) World Championship Finals in Prague. This partnership not only underscores our commitment to supporting young talent but also highlights our dedication to fostering a sense of teamwork and creativity through the arts. Adding a personal touch to this sponsorship, we are especially proud, because our co-founder's daughter is a member of this talented, country representing troupe. Naturally, as her mama, Emma holds the title of one 'Very Proud Mama!').

Freya, our Co-Founder, Emma Weldon's daughter, also holds the accolade of being the inspiration behind our company's name, AKA "Boo". She joins the team from Reading-based Advance School of Dance and Theatre Art

This independent school, established in March 2017, offers  exam-based RAD and ISTD courses in dance and theatre training for adults and children of all ages, both for those seeking a hobby, as well as an industry vocation.

DWC, held from June 27th to July 6th 2024, is a prestigious event that brings together the best young dancers from around the globe, where teams compete across various categories, showcasing their skills, creativity, and passion. For the Team England Junior Song and Dance Troupe, this was a golden opportunity to shine on an international stage, on a global scale, and we at Bumbles & Boo are honoured to play a part in their journey.

The Team England Junior Song and Dance Group delivered an outstanding performance in securing an impressive 9th place overall. Competing against 120,000 participants from 66 countries, this remarkable achievement highlights their dedication, skill and overall talent as dancers.

Emma Weldon, a founder of Bumbles & Boo alongside Emma Phillips, said: "Our support goes beyond providing uniform sponsorship; it is about encouraging these young performers to pursue their dreams and excel in their craft. Supporting these talented dancers as they pursue their dreams and showcase their talent on a global stage is truly an honour.

Watching my daughter grow and thrive as part of this team has been an inspiring journey, and we are delighted to extend our support to her and her fellow dancers. It was, as you can imagine, the ultimate proud mummy moment."

A massive well done to all who danced!
